"The Room That Knows Her Name"

With a sense of unease, Amelia felt she had been here before. The walls of the hotel were screaming at her, saying runaway. She felt a tremendous wave of negative energy inside her and started to feel dizzy. Adam noticed it and asked what's wrong. "Nothing, she replied, hesitating. As they were ascending the stairs, Amelia started to feel nauseous.

They reached their allotted room on the 2nd floor, and just about when they were to enter the room, she threw up. Adam understood that something was wrong and asked her if they should leave, but Amelia insisted not to. Adam opened the room, and they both entered at the same time.

For him, the room was fine considering the fact that it was quite cheap, but unfortunately he didn't know the reason. Just as they started unpacking, both Adam and Amelia felt a cold breeze coming from the attached bathroom, whose door was half open. Amelia wanted to throw up again but was skeptical about entering the bathroom. Adam went ahead and switched the lights in the bathroom, and as soon as he did it, Amelia rushed towards the toilet and threw up again.

Adam advised Amelia to go see a doctor with him, but she refused. They both realized that the atmosphere in the room was not usual, but none of them brought it up. Amelia took out her towel and soap and asked Adam if he wanted to join her in the shower. Adam agreed, but as they were to enter the bathroom they heard voice of children laughing loudly outside their room. The noise was so loud and clear that they could not ignore it. Adam asked Amelia to wait for him and went out of the room to inquire. Amelia had no idea she was seeing the last of Adam. With each passing minute, Amelia's anxiety kept rising. After almost half an hour, she decided to put on her clothes and went outside looking for Adam. As she left the room, the door closed behind her with a loud thud. Amelia's heartbeat skyrocketed, and she realized that something sinister was going on in the hotel. She ran towards the reception and saw the receptionist sleeping with his head on the desk. In a frenzy, she woke him up and told him about Adam, but to her horror, he did not look surprised. "Calm down mam,he is never coming back" he replied without a grin on his face. " And if you decide to investigate, the same will happen to you" he coldly added. The words of the receptionist left her stunned. The very first thought that came in her mind was "run" And that's what she did. The door was open and she didn't think about it twice.The receptionist seeing all this smiled and then started giggling. He knew it's already too late for her. He knew she has entered a never ending loop and anyone she brings never leaves alive. He knew she would come back.
